BRAVO

Before being rescued by the DFOB Team, Bravo was found tied up to a lawn mower in Farmington, MO. The team at the Farmington Pet Adoption Center rescued him and called the DFOB Team thinking he might be a good candidate for the program. He passed his assessment with flying colors and came to the DFOB Training Center that day.

This golden boy is working his way into Phase III of training, which means is very close to being able to be paired with a Veteran.  He has been able to prove that sensitive dogs can become service dogs. Bravo’s hard work and determination has earned him the nick name “Brave-o” for conquering his fears of grates, elevators and even went on his first airplane trip. His service skill strengths include anxiety interruption, brace work, off leash heel and item retrieval. When he’s off duty, he likes to play with all the other pups at the training center, fetch, swim and enjoys being groomed. Thank you to Merck Animal Health for sponsoring Bravo’s training!
